I loved staying at this hotel! The staff was really helpful; they suggested bike trips and gave me all the info I needed. The onsite onsen was amazing, always clean and never crowded. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the design of the hotel was a perfect blend of modern and traditional. I also appreciated the free drinks and the proximity to local restaurants.
Nothing to complain about at all.

During our stay at Kona Stay Izu Nagaoka, we were impressed by the spacious and well-equipped rooms. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of options including bread, cereal, salad, juice, and more. The staff spoke English very well and were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed renting e-bikes from the hotel and exploring the beautiful surroundings. we highly recommend Kona Stay Izu Nagaoka for a fantastic stay.
It would have been nice if there were more dining options available in the town, particularly on a Sunday evening. Additionally, some areas were not very bike-friendly due to heavy car traffic.

This cozy hotel was a hidden gem in a small city surrounded by mountains and the sea. The staff was friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. The highlight of my stay here was the availability of rental bikes that were well maintained, and the cycling routes that offered scenic views of the beautiful coast and mountains. The electric bikes were so convenient and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The icing on the cake was the vending machine that had craft beer and cycling essentials like spare parts, pumps, and oil.
The slight musty smell in the room, which is expected in such a humid environment. It wasn't a deal-breaker as it didn't affect my stay, but it could be a concern for some.

Great location to explore the area and many nearby restaurants to choose from. the rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice touch of modern and traditional styles. the staff were helpful and gave us many recommendations for things to do. We enjoyed the onsen which was a nice way to relax after a long day.
The parking situation was inconvenient with a 1000 yen fee per night and the carpark was a couple minutes away. there were no elevators to the rooms which made it difficult to carry our luggage up.
